What is the aim of this training course?
=> Acquire knowledge and skills in fire risk prevention;
=> Learn how to use a fire extinguisher safely to protect people and infrastructures.
Is this mandatory training?
Yes, in accordance with article L.312-4 of the French Labor Code concerning first aid, fire-fighting and evacuation.
How many people do you need to train in your company?
The Labour and Mines Inspection (ITM) recommends training at least 2 first aiders (EPI) per floor and 2 back-ups. For activities (industry, HoResca, commerce) that work in shifts (2*8H or 3*8H or weekends), you need to ensure that there are enough first-response team members on each shift.
